Vince Gironda's Legacy
His Legacy Lives On
In 1994 Vince received the first Peary Rader Lifetime Achievement Award. Vince's Gym closed in November 1995. On October 18, 1997, Vince Gironda passed away at 79.
It is said he died of a broken heart — from the closing of his beloved gym. But his knowledge never closed.
